This Privacy Policy explains how Sunlit (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Sunlit iOS application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
1. Who we are
Sunlit is a lightweight outfit journal that helps you organize your wardrobe, save style inspiration, and build daily looks. For privacy questions, contact us at support@sunlit.app.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may process the following categories of data:
- Device and app information. Device model, iOS version, app version, language/locale, and a locally generated device identifier used for app configuration and service reliability.
- Attribution and analytics data. Install and attribution information provided by AppsFlyer (for example, install status and media source when available) to understand how users discover the App and to operate our services.
- Push notification token. If you allow notifications, Apple may provide a device push token so we can deliver alerts you opt into.
- Photos you choose. If you pick a photo or save media to your library, the App accesses only the content you select or explicitly save. We do not browse your entire photo library without your action.
- Content you create in the App. Wardrobe items, outfits, notes, favorites, and similar records are stored primarily on your device.
- Purchase information. If in-app purchases are available, Apple processes payment details. We may receive transaction identifiers needed to unlock or restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment card number.
3. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve core App features
- Load configuration and determine service availability
- Measure installs and marketing effectiveness (attribution)
- Send notifications you have enabled
- Process and restore purchases
- Diagnose issues and protect against abuse
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:
- Service providers, such as AppsFlyer for attribution/analytics, and Apple for push delivery, payments, and system services.
- Legal recipients, when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.

5. Data storage and retention
Outfit and wardrobe content you create is generally stored locally on your device. Configuration, attribution, and similar technical data may be retained as needed to operate the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. You can delete local App data by deleting the App or clearing App data on your device.
6. Your choices
- You can deny or revoke photo library access in iOS Settings.
- You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.
- You can limit tracking / analytics options available in iOS Settings where applicable.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we control by contacting us.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. International users
If you use the App from outside the country where our servers or service providers operate, your information may be processed in other countries that may have different data-protection laws.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
